.Rooting an Android device is something a lot of owners do. However, doing so could cause the device to become an expensive brick. As usual, don’t root an Android advice unless you’re absolutely sure you know what you’re doing.
In order to get the Sixaxis Controller ($1.67 from the Android Market) to work, you need to make sure your device is compatible with the app. Dancing Pixel Studios, the developer of the app, says most HTC devices and more recent Samsung devices won’t work with the Sixaxis Controller app.
After following the instructions Dancing Pixel Studios has laid out, you should be able to pair your PS3 controller with your Android device. Up to four controllers can be enabled at one time. Their buttons are also customizable.
